They dive into Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Gremlins, Batman Returns, Iron Man 3, Edward Scissorhands, and even the curveballs people insist belong on “non-traditional Christmas movie” lists. Along the way, they break down which stories truly rely on the holiday and which ones just happen to be set in December.

It’s a fun conversation, a little nostalgic, and packed with movie talk that’ll either settle the argument once and for all or send you back to the comments ready to defend your favorites.

I am still trying to figure out how to keep our voices at a similar volume, but even conducting sound checks before we start recording, there seems to be an issue with my voice sounding much louder than Vern's. Hi everyone! This week, Vern and Josh discuss Return of the Jedi. We also learned how to keep ourselves more on topic, instead of straying too far.
We also changed our recording process. When we recorded the episode on The Empire Strikes Back, we tried to keep the conversation to one hour, but at the 1:05 mark, we had to cut it off, and it felt like we had a lot more to say about it. So starting this week, we recorded all of our thoughts until we had expended the topic, and now we are splitting the episode into shorter times, rather than one very long episode. Going forward, we will keep our episodes down to between 40 and 60 minutes. Thanks everyone!
